IT security should always be more than a necessity. Ideally, it should be a strategy. For me, it became a passion.
Brilliant technologies enable digitalisation as we know it today. However, they also require more understanding of the underlying architectures and more thoroughness in implementation, commissioning and troubleshooting.
More than 30 years in the development and technical marketing of IT solutions for industry and administration, from sensor monitoring to content management, on the shop floor and in the cloud, give me the necessary understanding of IT applications and architectures in the age of digitalisation.
The insights gained were decisive in focussing on the topic of security (cyber security) and secure solution architectures, also from the perspective of an attacker.
